I am a freelance multimedia journalist, currently working as France 24's foreign correspondent in Taiwan.
Graduating with an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, and a BSc in Politics from King's College London University, I have spent the last four years working as a freelance journalist across the globe. Among others, my work has been published by the BBC, CNN, CBC, The Guardian, Telegraph, Al Jazeera, France 24, and NBC.
Since moving to Taipei I have covered elections in Japan and Taiwan, growing regional tensions with China, spent time embedded with troops in the Korean DMZ, and was on the ground in Seoul covering Korea's the unprecedented imposition of martial law. In 2024 I was the first international journalist at the epicentre of the Hualien Earthquake, Taiwan's biggest in a generation.
In my academic career I have hosted numerous panel discussions and interviews with former Colombian President Ivan Duque, Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, the former head of GCHQ, Head of Operations for MI6, the former British Attorney General and numerous ambassadors.
As a graduate researcher at the University of Oxford, my research on China-Taiwan relations involved detailed interviews with high-ranking diplomats, politicians, academics, intelligence and military officials from across the US, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.
